Inter coach Antonio Conte is waiting for the real Arturo Vidal to appear at the Nerazzurri, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder scored a brace for his country in their 2-0 World Cup qualifier win over Peru earlier this week, being a decisive leader on the pitch.
Only fragments of this Vidal have been seen at Inter so far, and coach Antonio Conte is confident that the complete player will soon shine in a black and blue shirt.
Only twice Conte has started an Inter squad without Vidal, the report continues, and he is clearly a central part of the 51-year-old Italian’s tactical system.
Vidal will continue to play a key role for the Nerazzurri this season, with the former Juventus coach hoping that all his qualities will be visible soon.
The 33-year-old is at risk of disqualification in the Champions League, after receiving yellow cards against Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid.
