Alessandro Bastoni’s value has sky rocketed off the back of his recent performances according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter spent €31 million to bring a then 18-year-old Bastoni, who lacked any real top level experience, to the club in 2017 and thanks to his exponential growth and continued good performances, his value has increased to somewhere in the region of €50-60 million.

Bastoni is currently under contract with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season and earns €1.2 million a year. Inter have already held initial talks with his agent Tulio Tinti over a new and improved contract that should see his salary increased to around €2.5 million.

Whilst Tinti would like to see his client given an annual salary of €3 million, there will be absolutely zero problems in an agreement being found between the parties, the report adds.

This season the 21-year-old has made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied a single assist.
