Roberto Gagliardini has tested negative for COVID-19 according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The Italian national team player was sent home from national team duty after his most recent test result prior to this one was considered to be doubtful. He was tested today and the test result has come back negative.
With Gagliardini having tested negative, he can train alongside his teammates ahead of this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Torino.
The former Atalanta player, who joined Inter on loan back in January 2017 before being purchased outright that Summer, has made 109 appearances across all competitions to date for Inter, in which he has scored 12 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
The 26-year-old, who has made seven appearances for the Italian national team, has made five appearances for Inter this term, in which he has tallied one goal and one assist.
