Stefano Sensi should be back at the disposal of Inter manager Antonio Conte this week according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The diminutive central midfielder has been battling yet another injury in recent weeks and he should return to full training alongside the rest of the group during the course of this week.
Inter’s medical staff are applying even greater attention to the protocol envisaged for his recovery from his latest set-back and they are extremely cautious about upping the number of sessions he does.
Sensi would join Samir Handanovic, Ionut Andrei Radu, Andrea Ranocchia, Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Radja Nainggolan in group training.
He could possibly be joined by Roberto Gagliardini, who was sent home from national team duty after there was doubt regarding his latest test result for COVID-19, if he tests negative when next tested. Aleksandar Kolarov could also be with the group but his condition must be evaluated by Inter medical staff.
