Lautaro Martinez will be among the starters when Argentina take on Peru in World Cup qualifier action in the coming days according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The highly rated 23-year-old striker started and played 83 minutes of Argentina’s World Cup qualifier draw with Paraguay a few days ago and should he play any part against Peru, he will make his 20th appearance across all competitions for the Albiceleste.

Lautaro, who joined Inter in 2018 and is contracted to the club until 2023, will be in the starting XI with several household names with the report claiming that the likes of Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria as well as Barcelona’s Lionel Messi will all start at El Monumental.
