Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti will have his condition examined later on today, if not tomorrow, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The Italian youth national team representative sustained a blow to his ankle during Italy u21’s 4-0 win away to their Luxembourgian counterparts and Inter wish to take a look at things in order to get a clearer picture of the condition he is currently in.
Although he was able to finish the match, the condition he turned up at Inter’s training ground with has led the club to take the decision to examine him.
Pinamonti, who is a product of the club’s youth academy, returned to the club from Genoa during the most recent Summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has struggled for regular game time since his return to the Nerazzurri with him having only made three appearances, all of which have come as a substitute. He has not scored any goals in his limited time on the field.
