Things have worked out very differently for both Ivan Perisic and Radja Nainggolan upon their returns to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The duo spent the duration of last season out on loan at Bayern Munich and Cagliari respectively after being judged as out of the club’s project in the Summer of 2019.

Perisic has proven to be a valuable resource since his return from his loan. He has been transformed into a left wing-back and has also filled in at striker in the absence of Romelu Lukaku.

Things have not went as swimmingly for Nainggolan though. The former Belgian national team player has struggled for game time this term with him having only been limited to substitute appearances thus far.

His lack of minutes have meant he has not been able to show off and part of the problems he has had at Inter since his return are down to attitude, the report concludes.
