Time is running out for Christian Eriksen to turn things around for himself at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The signing of Wesley Sneijder some 11 years ago represented a turning point for Inter and Eriksen was supposed to represent another turning point for Inter but he has ultimately flopped with him having had very few big nights in an Inter shirt in his 10 months with the club.
Historically speaking, Inter teams that have had success have been built involving players who have won in the past, have personality and are accustomed to pressure. Eriksen has all three of these things yet has not lived up to expectations at the Nerazzurri and time is running out for him.
The 28-year-old Danish national team attacking midfielder has made 33 appearances across all competitions for Inter, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
