Matteo Darmian could start for Inter this weekend’s Serie A clash versus Torino according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

The 30-year-old, who joined Inter in a loan with obligation to buy deal from Parma during the Summer transfer window, has started Inter’s past three league games and would appear to be in with a real chance of a fourth consecutive start in league action this weekend.

The former Torino and Manchester United defender has made eight appearances across all competitions to date since his arrival at the club but he is yet to make any goal contributions in his 538 minutes on the field.

It is currently unclear whether Darmian will play at right wing-back, left wing-back or even centre back given the versatility that he possesses.

The report from the broadcaster goes on to explain that the conditions of all players returning from national team duty in the coming hours will be evaluated.
