Radja Nainggolan and Christian Eriksen are in a battle for a starting jersey in this weekend’s match versus Torino according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are due to face Torino at San Siro on Sunday and then play host to Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Champions League and given the close proximity of the matches, everything suggests that the teams that Inter boss Antonio Conte fields will have their differences.

The report explains that as things stand Eriksen has a slight advantage over Nainggolan. Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella are both fighting for a starting jersey whilst Roberto Gagliardini is almost certain of a start against La Granata.

The report from the Turin based news outlet also goes on to state that Sunday’s match could be an opportunity for Torino to take a closer look at Nainggolan, who they have been linked with signing ahead of the January transfer window.

Torino have also been linked with Matias Vecino and there has been no shortage of rumours regarding the possibility of a swap deal between the clubs which would see Torino offer Armando Izzo.
