Inter would sell Christian Eriksen in the upcoming January transfer window but there is an obstacle to be considered in a sale according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter paid €20 million to bring Eriksen to the club from Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window but thing have went far from as hoped for the Danish national team player, who is one of Inter’s highest earning players.

The 28-year-old, who joined Inter on a four and a half year contract, earns €7.5 million a year and if he were to be sold in the upcoming transfer window the report from the Milanese news outlet highlights that Inter would lose the benefits of the tax benefits of the growth decree.

As things stand there are no negotiations taking place for Eriksen, who has a frayed relationship with Inter manager Antonio Conte, although the report concludes that a return to the Premier League is not such as strange idea.
