AC Milan have an interest in signing Genoa central midfielder Nicolo Rovella according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
The Rossoneri club’s management really like the Italian under 21 national team representative and whilst it is too early to talk about negotiations, AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara are both attentive to developments around the player.
AC Milan are far from alone in having an interest in signing the 18-year-old sensation, with Inter, Juventus and Roma all also having an interest in adding him to their ranks.
Rovella is out of contract at the end of this season with the Rossoblu although Genoa president Enrico Preziosi recently stated that he will renew his contract with them.
This season Rovella, who is a product of Genoa’s youth academy, has made five appearances across all competitions to date but he has been unable to make any goal contributions when on the field.
