Well known Italian football agent and intermediary Andrea D’Amico has shared his belief that Christian Eriksen is not a player suitable for Inter manager Antonio Conte.

Eriksen has not performed to expectations since his arrival at the Nerazzurri club in the most recent January transfer window and in an interview with CalcioMercato.it, D’Amico has become the latest to question the suitability of the Danish national team player for Conte’s team.

“When you have a coach like Conte, an integralist in a positive sense, you have to get the players he wants,” D’Amico explained in the interview.

“If you sign a player that he does not foresee in his tactical design, you find yourself in the situation of Eriksen, who is a great talent but not suitable for the Nerazzurri coach.”

Eriksen joined Inter on a four and a half year contract from Tottenham Hotspur on a four and a half year contract and ahead of the fast approaching January transfer window speculation has been rife regarding his future at San Siro.

The 28-year-old has made 33 appearances across all competitions to date since his arrival in Milan, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists. This season the former Ajax man has made seven appearances but has not made any goal contributions.
