In the next few days, Danilo D’Ambrosio will sign a one year contract extension with Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

D’Ambrosio’s current deal with the Nerazzurri is due to expire at the end of the current season but this new deal will extend the expiry date to the end of next season.

The Italian national team full back, who is also capable of playing at centre back, has been with Inter since the January transfer window of the 2013/14 season.

The 32-year-old has made a total of 217 appearances for Inter across all competitions to date, during which he has scored 19 goals and provided 17 assists for his teammates.

D’Ambrosio is not the only player who could soon sign a contract renewal either. The same source has also reported that Inter are working on new deals for club captain Samir Handanovic, central defender Alessandro Bastoni and striker Lautaro Martinez.
