Inter will try to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter had shown an interest in signing the Serbian national team player during the recent Summer transfer window and would have signed him had Milan Skriniar’s departure from the club had materialised.

Inter’s relations with Milenkovic’s agent Fali Ramadani are more than good and the Nerazzurri club appear set to make another attempt to bring 23-year-old to the San Siro.

Milenkovic joined his current employers in the Summer of 2017 from Partizan Belgrade and is under contract with them until the end of next season.

The centre back has made eight appearances across all competitions to date for La Viola this term. In his time on the park, which totals 720 minutes, he has managed to score one goal and also provide a single assist for his teammates at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
