All of Inter’s players who have been away on international duty who have not already returned will return to the club’s training ground today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic returned yesterday and were subjected to a swab test for COVID-19. If the results, which will arrive today, are negative, the Moroccan and Croatian will be able to join up with the group and begin training for this weekend’s match at home to Torino.

The remaining international, including South American’s Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Lautaro Martinez, will arrive back at Appiano Gentile today and they too will be subjected to swab tests.

The first ‘proper’ training session will be able to take place tomorrow in view of Sunday afternoon’s clash versus Torino, who have made a poor start to the 2020/21 season with them only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.
