Danilo D’Ambrosio could replace Milan Skriniar in the Inter starting line-up in this Sunday’s Serie A match at home to Torino according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Given the number of minutes Skriniar played for his native Slovakia during the international break, Inter manager Antonio Conte could opt to deploy D’Ambrosio to the right of Stefan de Vrij in the right centre back role.

Roberto Gagliardini will meanwhile partner Arturo Vidal in central midfield whilst Nicolo Barella will start the match at San Siro from the bench.

The report goes on to add that Christian Eriksen will come into the Inter team and play as an attacking midfielder in behind strikers Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal, Roberto Gagliardini, Ivan Perisic; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
