Inter have their eyes on Hellas Verona duo Marco Silvestri and Mattia Zaccagni according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper L’Arena.
Inter are said to be thinking seriously about signing goalkeeper Silvestri and midfielder Zaccagni. Silvestri could be brought in as Samir Handanovic’s long term replacement in between the sticks and it is possible that Inter could include Ionut Andrei Radu in negotiations to sign Silvestri.
As for Zaccagni, Hellas Verona are in a hurry to sign him to a new contract until 2023 but this will seemingly not stop Inter, who intend to make a move immediately and could offer Eddie Salcedo to the Gialloblu club on a permanent basis.
It is very difficult to imagine Hellas Verona depriving themselves of Zaccagni in the short term and towards the end of the season Inter could make a different offer in the shape of €6 million plus Federico Dimarco, who, like Salcedo, is already on loan at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi side.
