Inter manager Antonio Conte hopes to see some players make a step up before pushing for more signings in the January transfer window to reinforce the squad according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Conte hopes to see an improvement from Milan Skriniar, Stefano Sensi, Radja Nainggolan and Alexis Sanchez, who are four potential starters, who could be fundamental for Inter during their upcoming period of games, which will see them play several games in quick succession.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that for different reasons, the four players above have not contributed how they were expected to this season.

Skriniar was out for a long time with COVID-19, Sensi has had various injuries, Nainggolan has suffered from the fact he looked to be on the way out until the final moments of the transfer window whilst Sanchez has had some injury setbacks.
