Rennes are not satisfied with Dalbert and are considering returning him to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of French news outlet L’Equipe.

Dalbert has performed below expectations since arriving at the Ligue 1 outfit on a season long loan from Inter and the club have not liked the lowly modest attitude he has shown alongside his lack of commitment. As a result, he has not been included in the squad for their match with Bordeaux this weekend.

The report warns that with Faitout Maouassa to return imminently and the exponential growth of youngster Adrien Truffert, it seems inevitable that Dalbert’s chances to play will decrease.

For these reasons, Rennes are considering cutting the loan short and sending him back to Inter in the upcoming January transfer window.

During his loan spell with the Brittany based club, Dalbert has made six appearances across all competitions to date but has not made any goal contributions.
