Inter have expressed interest in Hellas Verona goalkeeper Marco Silvestri and would consider offering the Gialloblu Ionut Radu in exchange, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking for a strong, long term replacement for club captain Samir Handanovic, who will be 37 years old by the start of next season and in the twilight of his career.

The Milanese club have long been linked with Udinese’s Juan Musso, the report continues, but now have expressed interested in Hellas Verona’s number one.

The 29-year-old Italian shot stopper, who is contracted to the Gialloblu until 2022, is proving to be one of the strongest keepers in the league currently, attracting the Nerazzurri’s attention.

Inter are considering offering Hellas Verona Ionut Radu in exchange for the 29-year-old, an offer that could be presented in January.

Silvestri has conceded five goals and kept three clean sheets in seven appearances so far this season.
