A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has detailed the situation regarding players who have tested positive for Covid-19 recently.
The report details how Marcelo Brozovic and Aleksandar Kolarov are both currently fighting the virus, after contracting it with their respective national teams.
Former Nerazzurri defender Diego Godin also recently tested positive for Covid, as well as Nahitan Nandez, a frustrating situation for Cagliari.
Rodrigo Bentancur managed to avoid the spreading of Covid-19 in the Uruguay camp, testing negative twice since returning to Turin. Today he’ll take another test with the hopes of being available for the game against the Rossoblu.
Torino also have two cases of Covid-19, whilst Napoli will be without Amir Rrahmani and Elseid Hysaj.
In the Ukrainian national team Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskiy tested positive, and Hellas Verona’s Darko Lazović tested positive whilst with Serbia, with Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic also contracting the contagion.
