Inter coach Antonio Conte will rotate the attack in today’s game against Torino with Alexis Sanchez starting, ahead of next week’s encounter with Real Madrid, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2023, is set to start alongside Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku against the Granata this afternoon, with Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez on the bench.

The reason is because Conte wants to ensure that the 23-year-old Lautaro is fully fit for next week’s vital Champions League re-match against Real Madrid, a must win game if the Nerazzurri want to progress out of the group stages.

Sanchez has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, failing to score but providing two assists.

He will have the opportunity to break his goal drought against a struggling Torino side today, a goal that could be key for his confidence.
