Inter wing-back Ashley Young had a performance to forget in yesterday’s 4-2 Serie A win at home to Torino according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Englishman was at fault for Simone Zaza’s opener for Torino and rather clumsily gave away a penalty early on in the second half when he kicked Wilfried Singo in the chest, and the penalty awarded allowed the visitors to go 2-0 up over the hosts, who, up until that stage had done very little and had performed very poorly.

Young, who joined Inter back in the January transfer window, has been handed a rating of just 4.5/10 for his efforts in the match.

Romelu Lukaku was meanwhile Inter’s best performing player on the day. The Belgian national team player scored two goals and assisted another and has been given a rating of 8/10.

Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez were given ratings of 7/10 whilst Samir Handanovic and Nicolo Barella got 6.5/10.

Milan Skriniar, Andrea Ranocchia, Stefan de Vrij, Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Perisic, all received ratings of 6/10. Alessandro Bastoni and Danilo D’Ambrosio both got 5.5/10.
