Inter have re-registered Ionut Andrei Radu in their squad for the UEFA Champions League ahead of Inter’s group stage encounter with Real Madrid tomorrow according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Radu was initially registered when Inter named their squad but when he tested positive for COVID-19 he was un-registered and replaced by third choice goalkeeper Daniele Padelli.

Having recovered from COVID-19, the Romanian national team shot-stopper was able to be re-registered and Inter have done exactly that.

Radu will therefore be current Inter number one and club captain Samir Handanovic’s deputy when Inter play host to Los Blancos tomorrow night at San Siro and for the remaining group stage games with Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 23-year-old, who is a product of Inter’s youth academy, is yet to make a competitive appearance for Inter this season but he has however been a regular feature on the substitutes bench.
