Deploying Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez together could prove to be an extra resource for Inter manager Antonio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The trident were all pivotal in Sunday’s 4-2 win over Torino. Lukaku scored twice and assisted once, Sanchez scored once and assisted once and Lautaro also scored.
All three players were on the pitch at the same time for a period of the game, something that Conte does not typically do and it would appear that playing all three is a more than suitable solution, especially in games that Inter are struggling in and are perhaps trailing in.
It has not been easy to see all of them on the field at once due to Sanchez having injury problems as well as Lukaku but on several occasions this season they have at least all been on the pitch, most of the time not all at once but all will feature in the game at some stage.
