Arsenal are not interested in signing Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report from the online edition of British daily newspaper The Daily Star.

The Gunners have been offered the chance to sign the struggling Danish national team player but as per this report they have no plans to move for the former Tottenham Hotspur player.

The reason for this is because Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s priority is to sign a new centre back. Therefore the report claims that Arsenal are to leave it to Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain to battle it out to sign Eriksen.

The former Ajax player joined Inter back in the January transfer window and speculation that he will leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window is mounting.

This season the 28-year-old has made seven appearances across all competitions to date although he has been unable to make any goal contributions whilst on the park.
