Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen in a deal worth less than the £16.9 million (approximately €18.9 million) that Inter paid to sign him almost a year ago according to a report from sports broadcaster ESPN.
As per this report, Eriksen’s availability has been widely circulated ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. A number of Premier League clubs have been contacted with regard to Eriksen and Tottenham Hotspur, who Inter signed him from, have ruled themselves out of signing him again.
Eriksen would be open to a move to Arsenal despite spending seven years with their arch rivals and could be available for as little as £12 million (approximately €13.5 million).
The report concludes by highlighting that the former Ajax player has also been linked with AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.
This season the 28-year-old, who has three and a half years left on his contract with Inter, has made seven appearances across all competitions to date but has made no goal contributions.
