Tonight’s UEFA Champions League group stage match between Inter and Real Madrid could be an opportunity for the two clubs to discuss a potential Christian Eriksen and Isco swap according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

A report from Germany that emerged yesterday suggested the two clubs could swap the struggling stars in the upcoming January transfer window and this report explains that Eriksen’s time with Inter and Isco’s with Real Madrid seems to be over.

Whilst Isco has spent several years with Real Madrid before things have went downhill, Eriksen will have only spent a year with Inter if he is moved on in January, a year that included very few high points.

Isco’s father and agent Paco Alarcon has also recently revealed that he and his client would be open to trying out a new league and this could help facilitate a swap between the two clubs.
