Inter and Real Madrid swapping Christian Eriksen and Isco is a hypothesis that cannot be ruled out according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based news outlet Tuttosport.

A few media outlets have speculated about the possible exchange and whilst this report does state that negotiations are far away, such a deal taking place cannot be ruled out.

Just days ago Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta hinted at Eriksen leaving whilst Inter manager Antonio Conte clearly does not fancy Eriksen at the moment with him having been stuck on the bench for the entirety of Inter’s last three games.

An outright sale is not easy but a swap deal is a solution that could help all parties that could be involved. Aside from Real Madrid there is a possibility that Inter could swap Eriksen for Corentin Tolisso, Granit Xhaka or Leandro Paredes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.

A swap with Real Madrid could perhaps be the most favourable though as both Eriksen and Isco could be valued somewhere in the region of €50-60 million in it.
