Inter manager Antonio Conte’s position as the club’s manager is not at risk according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
In the next few days, Inter will face two very important matches. They will face Sassuolo in the league and need a positive result to avoid falling further behind in the title chase.
They will then face Borussia Monchengladbach away from home in the UEFA Champions League where they must win to stand any chance of progression in the Champions League.
Inter’s management are not contemplating Conte’s position despite it being the most difficult moment of their relationship but it is clear that Inter need an immediate reaction and that the problems with their play, defensive stability, character and wrong approaches to matches must disappear.
Conte, who is into his second year in charge of Inter, has managed the club in 65 matches across all competitions, of which he has won 36, drawn 17 and lost 12.
