Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has remained tight lipped when quizzed on the recent media speculation linking his side with a move for Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.

As per various reports, Arsenal are one of several clubs to have been offered the chance to sign Eriksen from Inter and other reports have suggested that Inter and Arsenal could possibly swap Eriksen and Granit Xhaka.

“There are a lot of players out there that could improve any team but obviously we are not going to discuss any individuals,” the Spaniard explained in his pre-match press conference ahead of The Gunners’ UEFA Europa League clash away to Norwegian side Molde.

Eriksen has also been linked with potential moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, in which he is widely expected to be moved on by Inter having struggled to perform to expectations during his time with the club.

Eriksen has made 34 appearances across all competitions since joining Inter in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
