Inter manager Antonio Conte will not hold a pre-match press conference for this weekend’s Serie A clash away to high flying Sassuolo according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

As per this report, the press conference, which would have taken place tomorrow ahead of Saturday afternoon’s game in Reggio-Emilia, has been cancelled due to the fact that tomorrow afternoon Inter’s annual shareholders meeting will be taking place.

Reports in the Italian media have stated that Inter’s shareholders will ratify the financial statements, which include a loss of approximately €100 million, during the shareholders meeting and this is just one of many things on the agenda for the annual meeting.

As for the match with Sassuolo, Inter head into the match at the MAPEI Stadium trailing the Neroverdi club by three points in the Serie A table.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side currently sit in second place with 18 points whilst Conte’s Inter are in fifth place with 15 points.
