Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is already at work trying to offload struggling attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen ahead of the January transfer window according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

Inter value the Danish national team player at €20 million and are working on a swap deal for him. Marotta is thinking of two names in particular who Eriksen could be swapped for in Real Madrid’s Isco and Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes.

Paredes likes the idea of a move to Inter and further contact between Inter and his representatives is planned. PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has however yet to give the green light to a swap.

As for Isco, he is currently unhappy with his playing time at Real Madrid, who value him in the region of €30-40 million. Eriksen however does not fully convince the management of the Spanish side.

The report goes on to explain that contact between Inter and other clubs over Eriksen continues. Manchester United, Arsenal, Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich are all on Eriksen’s trail.
