Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has recovered from COVID-19 according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia which was broadcast a short time ago.

The Croatian national team player recorded a negative test result with his most recent test and having tested negative he is now back at the disposal of Inter manager Antonio Conte.

Brozovic has missed Inter’s past two matches across all competitions due to having COVID-19 and his return will come as a huge boost to Inter for this weekend’s Serie A match away to high flying Sassuolo.

The 28-year-old joined Inter back in January 2015 from Dinamo Zagreb and is under contract with the club through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

Brozovic has made no less than 210 appearances across all competitions during his time with the club and has scored 24 goals and tallied 25 assists. This term Brozovic has made 10 appearances, in which he has scored a single goal.
