Inter players’ performances in last night’s UEFA Champions League group stage defeat to Real Madrid left a lot to be desired according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal, who was sent off during the first half for dissent, was the worst performing player of all for Inter with him being handed a rating of just 4/10.

Inter wing-backs Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young only performed marginally better in the match with them both being given ratings of 4.5/10 whilst Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Roberto Gagliardini and Lautaro Martinez were all given half marks for their efforts at San Siro.

Milan Skriniar, Romelu Lukaku, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Alexis Sanchez were all meanwhile given ratings of 5.5/10. The best performing players for Inter were Ivan Perisic, Stefano Sensi, Stefan de Vrij and club captain Samir Handanovic and they all got 6/10.
