Despite sitting bottom of their UEFA Champions League group after four games player, there are still two ways for Inter to make it into the next round of the competition according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter have just two points to their name from their opening four games but can still make it through to the knockout stages but it does require some luck.
Inter must win both of their remaining two games to stand any chance but in order for this to be enough, either Borussia Monchengladbach must lose both of their games, one of which is against Inter.
Alternatively, if Real Madrid lose both of their remaining games with Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter win both of their games, they can go through as well.
The last time Inter met Borussia Monchengladbach they drew 2-2 whilst they recorded a goalless draw when they took on Shakhtar Donetsk last time.
