Stefano Sensi’s recovery could be very important for Inter with Christian Eriksen’s time with the club set to come to an end according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

In last night’s UEFA Champions League group stage defeat Sensi made a return to action from the substitutes bench with 12 minutes to spare.

Eriksen also came off the bench for the first time in several games and played for a few minutes but the Danish national team player did not make his mark on the game just like he has failed to make a mark during his entire spell with Inter.

Eriksen has a value against Inter’s budget of €22 million and it will not be easy for Inter management to find a buyer for him as a result.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will therefore try and set-up a swap deal, perhaps with Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain.
