Italian football journalist Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to share his belief that Inter fans are right to blame Inter manager Antonio Conte for the situation that they currently find themselves in.

Conte is into his second year in charge of Inter but it has went anything but successfully, especially in comparison to the great success of last season where Inter finished second, made the Coppa Italia semi finals and the Europa League semi final, which they lost 3-2 to Sevilla.

Inter have won just two of their last 10 matches across all competitions and find themselves on the verge of elimination from the UEFA Champions League at the group stage with them having picked up just two points from their first four matches.

“Conte’s problem, in addition to his salary, is that he presented himself saying: Now that I have arrived, everything will change: enough crazy Inter, I’m hungry to win, whoever is in second place is the first of the losers. After such proclamations it is normal for the fans to blame him this sad autumn,” Ravezzani posted.

Conte, who took charge of Inter in 2019 and is under contract with the club until the end of next season, has managed Inter in 65 matches and won 36 of them.
