Inter have trust in Inter manager Antonio Conte but are expecting for there to be a turning point soon according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are currently going through a rather complicated moment on the field and Inter face a difficult match versus high flying Sassuolo tomorrow which the Turin based news outlet believe is perhaps the worst match that Inter could have had next.

The current situation Inter are in started back in August at Villa Bellini when Inter management met with Conte to discuss things after his various public outbursts at the end of last season.

The meeting was supposed to restore calm but has only ended up ‘extinguishing’ Conte, whose side have lost the defensive solidity and the winning mentality shown last season.

The report goes on to add that Inter president Steven Zhang and club management must keep their attention levels high and keep an eye on what Tuttosport describe as the club’s fever. If it remains at a certain temperature, the situation will be manageable but if it gets too high it will not be.

In the event that Inter go down the route of parting ways with Conte, former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri could possibly replace him.

Allegri would like to get back into management and history could repeat itself as he was the man who replaced Conte at Juventus.
