David Alaba’s agent Pini Zahavi is planning on holding talks with both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain in January according to a report from German news outlet BILD journalist Christian Falk.
Alaba’s contract with Bayern Munich is due to expire at the end of the season and there have been various clubs linked with moving for him.
Bayern Munich have held various rounds of contract renewal talks with Alaba and his representatives but were unable to reach a deal with the Austrian national team player and opted to pull their most recent offer from the table.
Whilst Falk has confirmed that both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have plans to sign the 28-year-old, Inter, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have all also been linked with signing him in recent weeks and months by various news outlets in a number of countries.
This season Alaba has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored one goal and provided one assist.
“Alaba-Agent Pini Zahavi plans to start talks in January with Chelsea about a transfer of David Alaba. Also on his list: Paris Saint-Germain,” Falk posted to Twitter.
