Some signings Inter made in the most recent January and Summer transfer windows are not performing as desired according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi in particular have both struggled for different reasons during their respective spells with the Nerazzurri club.

Eriksen is very much out of Inter’s plans and the coming weeks, more than anything, will be used to set up a swap deal involving the Danish national team player.

Hakimi is meanwhile struggling to adapt to the highly tactical Serie A but there are no doubts about his ability and his potential. At just 22-years-old there is still plenty of time for Inter’s €40 million investment to sign him to pay off.

The report goes on to conclude that neither Ashley Young nor Aleksandar Kolarov have performed exceptionally either. Age is catching up with 35-year-old Young now whilst Kolarov has disappointed as a central defender.
