Inter have won their first Serie A game with less than 35% possession for the first time since October 2012, according to a report from Italian stats provider OptaPaolo yesterday on Twitter.

The Nerazzurri secured an early lead against the Neroverdi yesterday, thanks to a fourth minute goal from Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

This lead was extended in the 14^th minute from an own goal by Sassuolo defender Vlad Chiriches, and further extended in the 60^th minute thanks to Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.
