Legendary Inter defender Marco Materazzi has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to pay tribute to the late Diego Armando Maradona, who passed away in the middle of the week aged 60.
Materazzi has shared two images of himself alongside the former Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli and Argentine national teal player as well as a signed jersey from Maradona.
Materazzi, who spent a total of 10 years with Inter between 2001 and 2011, years which were filled with trophies, posted: “I had the pleasure, the honour and the good fortune to meet you as a child, I touched you and shivered with emotion, then I had the good fortune to see you again as an adult to try have the same identical sensations again, what can I say. You were simply magical.”
