Legendary Inter midfielder Lothar Matthaus has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to join the footballing world in paying tribute to the late Diego Armando Maradona, who passed away in the middle of the week from a heart attack aged 60.

The former Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach player, who is now 59-years-old, posted an image of himself and Maradona, who played for the likes of Boca Juniors, Barcelona and Napoli in his career, and captioned it with: “Magician, genius, legend.”
