Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be available for next week’s Champions League game against Borussia Monchengladbach, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Croatian midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, tested negative for Covid-19 yesterday, allowing him to return to squad training.

This means that Brozovic will be available for next week’s European clash, a key game if Antonio Conte’s side want any hope of progressing to the next round of the competition.

Brozovic has made 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 587 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal.

Inter are currently bottom of their Champions League group after four games, sitting on two points from two draws and two losses. The Milanese club drew in their last meeting with the German side, with both goals coming from Romelu Lukaku.
