Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be available for the Nerazzurri’s Champions League clash against Borussia Monchengladbach next week, after testing positive for Covid-19, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Croatian midfielder, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2022, can train with the rest of the squad ahead of their European commitment next week.

His return is important for coach Antonio Conte, who is without Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal after the 33-year-old’s silly red card against Real Madrid earlier this week.

Brozovic was forced to miss the last three games due to Covid-19 but has now tested negative, giving Conte some good news.

The 28-year-old Croatian has made 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 587 minutes.

In that time, he has scored one goal, playing as a defensive midfielder in a four or five-man midfield.
