A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed the Inter squad’s performance in their 3-0 win over Sassuolo yesterday.

The report details how 30-year-old Italian wing back Matteo Darmian was the strongest player on the pitch for the Nerazzurri, earning a 7.5 rating and being noted for his strong offensive and defensive performance.

A 7.0 rating was given to Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni and Roberto Gagliardini for their strong performances, with the Italian midfielder scoring a key goal.

Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez received a 6.5 rating for his assist and close attempt on goal, with Arturo Vidal receiving the same rating for a better game in midfield.

Coach Antonio Conte also received a 7.0 rating, giving a good response after the disappointing loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this week.

Inter’s win means that they are now second in the league table after nine games.
