Inter have recorded their second Serie A on the trot after comfortably defeating Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio-Emilia thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Roberto Gagliardini and an owngoal by Vlad Chiriches.

Inter started the match in great fashion breaking the deadlock after only 4 minutes when Lautaro Martinez blocked a poor clearance by Sassuolo’s Vlad Chiriches and eventually passing it to Alexis Sanchez who put it in the back of the net.

The Nerazzurri doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Arturo Vidal’s cross came off of the head of the unlucky Vlad Chiriches who put it behind Consigli in Sassuolo’s goal.

Inter then put the match beyond doubt after an excellent Matteo Darmian cross found Roberto Gagliardini the third to secure all three points.
