Bologna are set to be without Italian national team attacker Riccardo Orsolini for the next few weeks according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Resto del Carlino.

Orsolini was forced off the field of play early on in Bologna’s match with Crotone at the weekend with a suspected thigh injury. The player will be examined again in the coming days but looks set to face the next three of four weeks out on the sidelines.

As a result of his injury, Orsolini will miss this weekend’s Serie A match away to second placed Inter and his absence will be a real blow to Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.

This season the 23-year-old, who is into his second season with the Rossoblu, has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a total of four goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
